Geenie is an independent, third-party service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon or Anthropic.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and any company or profile details you provide.


Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited billing information such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.


Amazon account data. When you connect an Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Advertising account, we access and store data from those accounts to provide the Service. Depending on what you connect, this may include:

  • Advertising data — campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targeting, bids, budgets, spend, and performance metrics across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP;

  • Selling data — sales, orders, inventory, fees, financial data, and Brand Analytics;

  • Listing and catalog data — product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and related content; and

  • Authorization tokens that allow us to access these accounts on your behalf.


Chat and usage data. We collect the messages, prompts, and instructions you submit to the Service, the responses and actions generated, and metadata about your use of the Service (such as features used, timestamps, and log data).


Support communications. When you contact us or use our in-app support chat, we collect the information you provide.


Technical and diagnostic data. We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, and error and performance data used for security, debugging, and reliability.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including retrieving and analyzing your Amazon data and executing the actions you request;

  • Process your requests through AI models to generate analysis, recommendations, and content;

  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and enforce plan limits and credits;

  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;

  • Monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including detecting and preventing fraud and abuse;

  • Send you transactional and Service-related communications (such as alerts, notifications, and account emails); and

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI Processing

To provide the Service, we send your prompts and relevant portions of your data (including Amazon account data) to our AI provider, Anthropic, for processing. This processing is necessary to interpret your requests and generate responses and actions. We share data with AI providers only to the extent needed to deliver the Service, subject to their applicable terms and data-handling commitments. We do not use your Amazon data or private business data to train our own public models.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:


Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted third parties to operate the Service. These include, among others:

  • Anthropic — AI model processing;

  • Amazon — the source of your connected advertising and selling data (via the Selling Partner API and Advertising API);

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting;

  • Stripe — payment processing;

  • ClickHouse Cloud — data warehousing and analytics storage;

  • Vercel and Railway — application and infrastructure hosting;

  • Redis — caching and job processing;

  • Resend — transactional email delivery;

  • Intercom — customer support messaging;

  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring; and

  • Slack — if you use our Slack integration.


These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.


Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Geenie, our users, or others.


Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Use of Amazon Data

Your Amazon data is used only to provide the Service to you. We access, store, and process Amazon Selling Partner and Advertising data in accordance with Amazon\’s applicable data protection and acceptable use requirements. We do not sell Amazon information, and we do not share it except with the subprocessors and for the purposes described in this Policy. You may revoke our access to your Amazon accounts at any time through Amazon or by disconnecting the account within the Service; doing so may limit or disable Service features.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you disconnect an Amazon account or delete your Geenie account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, financial records, or backups.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation between customers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States and use providers that may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@geenie.io. You may also:

  • Update your account information in the Service;

  • Disconnect Amazon or other integrations at any time;

  • Cancel your subscription and delete your account; and

  • Opt out of non-essential communications (transactional messages will still be sent).

We will respond to requests as required by applicable law, including the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA where they apply. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as Amazon, Anthropic, Stripe, and Slack). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
